Emperor of the North looks interesting – let us know what you think. I just finished reading To The Heart of the Nile which I think you might have recommended. I am currently reading My Journey to Lahasa by Alexandra David Neel an autobiographical account of a woman travelling alone in Tibet at the end of the 19th century. I’ve just started but its a good read if you’re looking to add something to your list!
