Said I while waking her up: “Are you going to come running with me today?”

Said she with sleepy, rumpled face: “Maybe.”

Said I with arms thrown wide: “Maybe?  What maybe?  There is no maybe!”

Said she, face in pillow: “You never know – I could sneeze and my leg could fall off.”
