Without too much fuss and bother I managed to write 1896 words yesterday, comfortably more than the 1667 minimum. I can see how this process will be both easy and difficult. When it’s flowing, it will work. Those days when I’m stuck and dry will be the tricky ones.
There was a tip on one of the NaNoWriMo boards to make a list of emergency scenes. It was a very reassuring notion. I’ve got my notes on 8 or so scenes that I can write when I need something to happen next and I’m not sure what should happen in terms of big plot. Let’s hope I don’t need one today.
Off to write at least 1667…
