Rainer is going for Papa of the Year Award. He’s built two snow hills and a small jump in our front yard. By shoveling all the snow from everywhere. Tias is using the small hills to gain confidence that is hard to get when you’re on a big hill.
I love seeing how many variations our little space can go through as the kids grow up. I would never have predicted this one, but I love it. I love seeing him working away, gaining the strength and pride that lead to bigger tricks. I love the way the helmeted head just suddenly appears in a window and then vanishes.
Winter has its high points.
