We go to sunny Florida for the winter. It’s one of the perks of being retired. It’s been chilly here but the sun is shining and I find it really lifts my mood and gives me more energy.
I know it sounds cliche but I find light in love and laughing, connections that pull me out of myself, teaching my littles, knitting group, coffee dates. I’m also ok with a little dark.
I get out in it all the time. Can’t really imagine a life where sunshine isn’t a very regular thing. Spoiled, I know. But it is a necessity.
