  • something or someone to love
  • something to do
  • something to think about”

  1. Siri says:

We did a sleepover trade with another homeschooling family last night. The 6 year olds are away at the other house and the 8 year olds are here.

This morning they stoked the woodstove and now they’re making pancakes. That’s the DO part.

Yesterday evening they spent a couple of hours together making Valentines for their friends and families. I guess that’s the LOVE part.

PONDER? Well, that seems to be a constant.

Did I say 8 year olds? Hardly. One of them will be 9 tomorrow and the other to follow the next week.

  2. Lisa says:

To do: Finish making dinner together [they are 13 and 14]
To love: EACH OTHER the bickering is getting old and we’ve had to have a sit-down and deal with it meeting
To Ponder: The endless pondering of their lives as American teenagers I guess!

  3. ChristineMM says:

Today doing: kids doing laundry, guitar lesson for younger son. Both helped me clean up the family room and dining room and kitchen, and put away yesterday’s ski gear. Younger son asking to start kniting a scarf (I taught him to knit last month but it is still very shaky going.)

I’m sick and should be in bed resting. So regular HS lessons are not happening ‘in full’.

To love: me, they feel badly that I’m sick, and they are cuddling with our two cats.

To think about: they are making new LEGO creations using their imagination, reading their fiction books. Older son is thinking about where the book Inkdeath is going with the plot. Due to light HSing lessons today I am not putting ideas into their heads today.

To do: “chalking” outside in the glorious burst of Springlike weather

To love: Me. Because I snuck them 9 choc. chips each when we were baking this morning and apperntly last time I only let them sneak 6. šŸ™‚

To ponder: What they would like to do their upcoming homeschool fair project on.
