I have that quote in a frame in our school room 🙂
Today I’m wondering why my friend’s daffodils have bloomed already and mine are barely up out of the ground.
My son looked out our window this afternoon, saw the half-moon against a crystal blue sky, and asked this question: “If we launched a rocket straight at the moon, would we be able to see it go all the way to the moon, since it’s a clear day?” I know that we wouldn’t be able to see the rocket go all the way there but I don’t know how to explain it. The image, though, has stuck with me all day. I guess this will be our science for the week!

I am contemplating how such a small person as a child can bring you both so very much joy and frustration. Luckily, much, much more joy than frustration!! They are wondrous gifts from God!
