Museum of Man and Nature is very awesome, I haven’t been there since I was a kid. I wonder if it would be worth trying to tackle it with a two year old? Maybe if I move fast….

LOL – I love it! What a cool exhibit. I wish there was something like that here.

Not sure which I like best–the relaxed Tias, the cool retro sweaters or the museum!

And in October in Manitoba your one there is slurping up an iced frapp! Go Boy!
In August I took my daughters to the “Treasures of the British Museum” exhibit in Victoria at the Royal BC Museum. We went through seven galleries, beginning in Africa (1.2 million year old stone hand axe) and ending in “the Modern Age” (a Picasso, and a weird pair of bejeweled ankle boots). I went around in a fog of deep thought for days afterwards, pondering our progression from foragers’ caves, through the age of cultivation and the landlord’s feudal huts, to city highrises and suburban split-levels…if you can call it ‘progress’.
